The weather may be getting cooler, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop having a good time!  Here’s a list of things to do this fall.

If you’re looking for something to do this fall, Duhlicious recommends these fun upcoming events running between October and November.

 

Firkin Revolution

Throughout the our fine city you may have noticed that the traditional style of the Firkin Pubs has fallen by the wayside and has been replaced by a hipper, trendier spot to mingle.  With updateddécor, cocktail menus and a British-styled atmosphere, the Firkin Pubs are definitely the place to be.  Be sure to check out these “refreshed” locations in Davisville, Rosedale, York Mills and Markham.  If you would like more information on the Firkin closest to you, you can find the locations at http://www.firkinpubs.ca.

 

Remy Martin “Heart of Cognac Experience”

Until November 4th

Cancer is a cause that is near and dear to almost every Canadian’s heart.  We are pleased to say that from October 10th – November 4th, Remy Martin is running their Heart of Cognac Experience, with all proceeds going to Prostate Cancer.  This event is open to the public and is running in Liberty Village and consists of sessions to educate on blending and tasting.  The sessions will run from 75-90 minutes and are truly an evening to remember.  To sign up for a session, please visit http://www.remymartinexperience.ca/sign-up.html.

 

Gourmet Food and Wine Expo

November 15th – 18th; Metro Toronto Convention Center.

Mid-November, the Gourmet Food and Wine Expo hits the Metro Toronto Convention Center   From November 15-18, anyone 19+ can participate in tutored tasting, enjoy over 1500 wine offerings and also catch a glimpse of Celebrity Chef Andrea Nicholson.  For $40 you can enjoy the VIP experience on Thursday night, or pay $20 for the general admission price.  For more information, visit http://www.foodandwineexpo.ca.  This is a definite must-attend event!

 

Toronto Chocolate Festival

Until November 4th

 Starting October 13th and running until November 4th, the Toronto Chocolate Festival is a Duhlicious favourite!  With events such as the The 7thAnnual Chocolate Ball Gala, titled “Cocoa Cabaret” at Roy Thompson Hall on Friday, October 19th and the intriguing Dining with the Choc-Elitemurder mystery at Mysteriously Yours Dinner Theatre on October 26th, this event promises to be fun and especially tasty.  With some of the proceeds of the events going to Prostate and Breast Cancer, we recommend checking out at least one, if not all, of these amazing events.  Please visithttp://www.torontochocolatefestival.com/ for more information.
